I be gramming.

This morning I had a somewhat in-depth conversation with bestie about finding resources to teach ourselves to gram better.

Seriously.

This isn't even unusual.

We like instagram. Probably a lot.

In fact most of my girlfriends have an unhealthy love of the gram. We all use it, we all edit our photos in photography apps, not in instagram and consider each post before actually posting more than we would ever admit.

My favourite app afterlight got updated last week and there are new filters! This excited me far more than it should have and it had me thinking I must tell everybody.

Then this morning I was working hard, I promise, but then I just took a little break to watch a Zoella video because my ribs! They hurt and I need breaks. ANYWAY she always makes me want to look a little fancier you know? Like when I watch pretty little liars I must sit next to my straightener and curl my hair perfectly while watching because their hair is always so pretty and I always think to myself, try harder with your locks girlfriend! 

Back to this morning, I put some make up on and did my hair and then took selfies cause what else are you going to do when your head looks lovely but you're wearing yoga pants and slippers. 

And back to gramming! I've taken those selfies I wasn't going to do anything with and I am going to show you my fave afterlight filters! Are you soooo excited!? Good.

Firstly, the filters I use depend on the photo (obvs) but these are my usual go to filters. I'm all about the wwwhhhiiiitttteeeee photos. I miss the mark 100% of the time though. 

Afterlight has 4 different filter sections. It also has this new one where you can make your own but I haven't played with yet.

This first filter, Raven is from the original section.

Magnolia lives in the seasons section. 

Russ from the guest section was my favourite but then!

Rainier from the new section Wander! I don't know why I like it more now that I look at it properly.. it's rosier than russ and I'm all about the cooler tones. But whatever! The heart wants what it wants.

Shall we talk about my other fave photography app while we're here and considering I used it for these glamour shots? Lets. 

The girls at A Beautiful Mess made an app called abeautifulmess or ABM and I've had it for a loonnnggg time but rarely used it. However! since BD started growing and I had to document this belly, I've fallen in love with it again. I even made an in app purchase and bought the baby phrases package. Best decision ever.
